Lollapalooza Berlin 2016
This past weekend was Lollapalooza time in Berlin, I bought an early bird ticket after having a great time last year without knowing the line-up, and I was not disappointed. A lot of acts I've liked for a long time but never had the chance see were performing, on day one Josef Salvat, Kaiser Chiefs, and Kings of Leon alone. Great local acts like Max Herre and Paul Kalkbrenner (a Berlin legend) also performed.
It's not possible to see everything, especially if you want to get a good spot for a particular band you need to be a tad strategic timewise, which we were for Kings of Leon. It's also an opportunity to take a seat.
Day one was pretty phenomenal - tough acts to follow. On day two Aurora, The Temper Trap, Martin Solveig among the likes of Radiohead and Bilderbuch managed to keep the party going.
Two awesome days of sore feat, dusty shoes and nasal passages and great music - see you next year.
